That's called revisionist history, was it as big as Wii? No, but it was huge.

The revisionist history is calling Kinect a craze.  Here are the facts:

Wii Sports Resort required Wii Motion Plus.  Sold 33m total.
Kinect Adventures was a pack-in for Kinect.  Sold 24m total.

Was Wii Sports Resort a craze in itself?  I've certainly never heard anyone say it was.  The game was released in 2009.  Did it cause the Wii to spike even further for 2-3 years?  I believe most consider 2009 to be the year that the Wii craze was ending.

So the question I have for you is, "If Wii Sports Resort sold significantly more than Kinect Adventures, then why didn't they have the same kind of effect on console sales?"

Wow.

Motion Plus-$19.99

Kinect-$149.99
