No. PS3 was not as hackable as PS2 and it got hacked at the end of its life. I don't know about hacked PS4s and also is not the same as before as people love playing online much more than they use to. And with PS4 you'll probably get a bricked console, thing that didn't happen with PS2. So PS2 numbers were up much more than PS3 and even more than PS4 because of piracy.. In south Americq most people play Fifa with friends and you need to be online for that.
