I just hope Nintendo realizes that Metroid is a franchise loved by adults and even if gameplay is more important than anything else, those adults want to see a compelling story which is partly told in atmospheric cut scenes. After all, Metroid is the most cinematic franchise Nintendo has. It was originally heavily based on the Alien movie, so to give Metroid Prime 4 a heavy cinematic flair is a must. Cut scenes are still a big weakness of Nintendo. I understand that for most of their other franchises to invest too much into cut scenes is a waste of money, it's not true for Metroid. Not only the quality must be nailed but also the quantity and please let the cute scenes be longer than 1 minute.

No thank you. The only Metroid game with cutscenes is Other M and we all know how that turned out.
