You completed the same amount of games as me this year and I had lots of free time. Between May and September I only completed one game. When I was in College I could complete maybe 5 games.

Yeah tell me about it, back in school and college finishing 25-30+ games a year was a cakewalk!

Just counted my physical backlog on PS4 and I've got 34 games to get through... most of them being big RPGs too lol, and that's not even counting releases from 2017-2018 that I haven't bought yet, lol.

Wow! My experience was the exact inverse.

When I was an undergrad, I would finish maybe 5-7 games a year and in graduate school I think I may have completed 1-2 games a year. I mostly just looked longingly at my games, bitter at the collected dust for it finding more present utility from my games and consoles than I. By contrast, I think this is the first year I've completed this many games precisely because I only have a job. No homework, no studying, no off-the-clock projects. Looking at my list, I suppose I felt like I had to take advantage of that :)

To be fair, though, I do have some real brief games that kind of pad my list. Gone Home literally has a trophy for beating it in under 60 seconds (which I will never, ever earn...).
