Supermassive is locked in on a 3 game contract with Namco Bandai right now for the Dark Pictures Anthology, which seems to be 1 game per year, and they just announced they are working on another Sony exclusive, meaning that MS wouldn't be able to get an exclusive out of them until sometime after 2022 most likely, so I highly doubt MS is looking to acquire them unless they are looking to play a really long game, lol. |
I wouldn't count out Ready at Dawn from that list. Just because it doesn't seem like Microsoft even cares about reviews. All Compulsion games were also reviewed poorly but it didn't stop MS from acquiring them. I think I would even bet that this studio that they want to acquire is Ready at Dawn actually.
