You dont get it, TR1, TR2 and TR3 were much better games for its time than later games were for its time, like I wrote they were one of best games of hole generation that had plenty of great games (I mean first generation of 3D games). Of course that things like graphics and controls..will be better with later games, but they didnt had better exploration, atmosphere, puzzles, level design, huge focus was on exploration and finding right path...and that was actualy essence of Tomb Raider.
