Ok first of all, you have to teach me how to time teavel to the future so I can play these games that have sold insane numbers and have lived up to their hype.  (seriously, you just lost all credibility)

Second, Splatoon 2 being a sequel to a new IP at the end of the WiiU generation, a failed console mind you, is a huge difference crom IPs that are over a decade old on the PS4.  (if you had not already lost credibility from point one, this would have finished the job).

I think we are done here lol.

Oh ok, so I guess I should add TLOU2 to the list of Sony’s upcoming new IPs then. XD

as to your other point I don’t need a time machine to know Sony’s upcoming games will be critically acclaimed and blockbusters. I have seen their footage and they all look sure shot winners. Days Gone is probably the only one that’s questionable and even that looks like it’ll manage a mid 80s metascore and 5+ million sales while the likes of GoT, Death Stranding, Dreams, TLOU2 are sure to be 90+ titles.

i know that’s a hard concept to grasp for you since in Nintendo’s case to know if they’ll make a 90+ rated game is to ask whether it has Mario or Zelda in it, but Sony makes 90+ rated titles all the time without appealing to people’s fuzzy feelings of nostalgia.

I know it is a hard concept for you to grasp, but a known IP can still deserve the scores it gets.  As someone who has played Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Mario Odyssey, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2...AS WELL AS...Uncharted 4, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn  and Bloodborne...I can tell you for a fact that all of those games from BOTH platforms are outstanding and fully deserve every bit of praise they have recieved.

But you would not know anything about that, would you?
