The GTA games were being released on PS2 first before releasing on PC. Burnout, Guitar Hero, DMC, Tekken and SSX all started as a PS/PS2 exclusive and then went multiplatform. Okami went multiplatform. The list goes on.

The point is that what OP is talking about is a scenario that was never there.

GTA is a given, and obvious. Burnout, was only exclusive to PS2 for five months.  Guitar Hero went multiplat in 2007, not during the PS2's life cycle. SSX Tricky was a multiplat from the start.  DMC didn't go multiplat until 2008, well into gen 7. Okami only saw a Wii release in 2007 during gen 7 era. Tekken 5 was never brought to GC or Xbox. You're thinking of Tekken 6, which was again in gen 7.

So the only example you have that holds water is GTA going onto Xbox.

Guitar Hero went multiplatform with the second entry and is still a series that started on the PS2 and went to the 360 before it came back to the PS3 with the following entries.

The first SSX was exclusive to the PS2. The second one went multiplatform and that was in 2001.

Devil May Cry 3 went multiplatform in June 2006 so during the PS2’s life.

Tekken went multiplatform with Tekken Advance on the GBA in 2002.

So, the ony example that does not hold water is Guitar Hero. You’re also forgettinf Burnout.

And those examples are only the ones that I saw when I looked at the first page on Gamerankings. I’ll look up a few more.
