I wouldn't call Spiderman a first party game. They don't own the IP nor the studio who developed the game in question. 

And yes, great leap and very good sales for Sony this gen, but not quite Nintendo level.

Licensed the rights from Marvel (sony money). Subcontracted the development to Insomniac(sony money).Publishedby sony. Releasing exclusively on Playstation.

Thats sounds like a first prty game to me.
