FYI the population of ireland would probably be around 20m today rather then under 5m if our friendly neighbours were indeed friendly to us throughout the ages. 

They rule over NI because that's what Northern Irish want and don't have a problem with either.

 

Scisca or what ever your called read posts before you respond he's bringing up 800 years ago and a political situation he has little understanding of yet ignored a part in Croatia's history when they supported Nazis during WWII the image you posted is pre-war before Hitler began his invasions. You want people to chill then don't bring up political situations.

You say I've little understanding yet you ignore almost 50% of Northern Ireland which are the indigenous catholics want to be free from British rule. You invaded our island, tried to force your ideals on us, mudereded millions, starved millions more and yet you want to act the good guy. In the past Britain were no better then the nazis and its 1 of the reasons why irish love seeing England lose. Only reason your empire is glorified and Germanys isn't is because you won most of your wars and the Victor rights history.

 

And before you bring up what the nazis did to the Jews your country used to rob irish woman and used them to breed child slaves with African men on the way to Jamaica. Sub human. 

 

That's enough of a history lesson for you. Now please don't question why 90% of ireland thoroughly enjoyed England losing to Croatia.
