Yes, a dive can get you yellow, but how is this relevant here? Was it anywhere close to the Mexican goal? 

What Neymar did goes against anything what this sport stands for. It's unfair and only intends to make him look like the victim. It's the worst kind of behavior.

There were complains abour acting not getting punitive measures... besides yellow card for diving you can have organization sanction besides if you are somewhat famous player judge prejudice will be a thing.

And hitting a player, doing malicious play against him is what the sport stands for? Because curiously a lot of complain against Neymar but nothing against the ones beating him?

Worse behavior is doing a harsh fault, them hiding hand and pretending to do fair play.
