Wouldn’t be surprised if Epic was not allowed to put any sort of warning about the account being locked into the PS4 ecosystem when players created/merged their accounts onto PS4. As open as they’ve been about it and as badly as they want crossplay, it’s the only thing that makes sense. Of course, it could have also been a very recent development from Sony. Either way there’s only one company standing in the way of you being able to transfer your account to other consoles and it’s Sony.
