Ridley because I've wanted him to be in the game since the intro video for Melee; at the time I was playing Melee I didn't have the internet so had no idea how many characters were unlockable or who they were. Inkling because it's a character were the moveset looks like it really reflects the game they come from, and hell, Splatoon is so stylish - I just hope the Splatoon stage has plenty of killer music and enters Splat Fest mode at the appropriate times. Zelda because I love the redesign (I approve of the Zelda characters in general, though wish Young Link had his Majora's Mask shield & sword as default) and hope she's better this time around - there's potential with her moveset. Duck Hunt because I got pretty good as him in Smash 4 before my Wii U broke, and Samus because I love Samus.
Is there a thread that requests newcomers in light of the game being properly revealed? Like, top 5 newcomers for Ultimate?
