Greatest income inequality does not mean poorest. 

It means the US is very insanely wealthy and far too many people don't get in on it.

Being poor in the US is a pretty high standard of living compared to "middle class" just about anywhere else in the world. 

 

Our diversity is our weakness and also our strength. We will never have the advantages a homogeneous country like Japan, or South Korea has. But the diversity does lead in my opinion to greater ingenuity, you know, like they say chaos breeds creation.
