I'm tired of this overemphasis on diversity spilling into our entertainment.

Both personalities were way off, but I could at least see how Light kind of looks the part. L was just an embarrassment all around.

So what exactly would be the problem if they decided to make all the characters black?  

Sorry but I don't agree.  Light was an embarrassment.  L was the highlight, which isn't saying much.   

An emo pale white guy being portrayed by a regular black guy. Jeez I wonder what the problem is.
