I think that, because for the past few weeks it's been just behind the PS4 in hardware sales, the Nintendo Switch needs a price cut, unless it's too soon to take such measures.

Who here thinks it should get a price cut, and who here thinks it doesn't need one?

Nintendo is not a company that bases their decisions based on internet forum banter. That's not to say that they don't want to be on the top, they do, but it's clear where the inspiration for this thread came from. Do you think Nintendo didn't know they'd have a mediocre first half of the year, when they have Smash Brothers, Fire Emblem, Yoshi and probably Animal Crossing in the 2nd half of the year? It doesn't really matter what it gets NOW because it's getting pretty steady figures in proportion to how little there is.

Besides, I don't see the point in caring that much. The Switch doesn't even have it's handheld developers releasing a game yet, and it's been a year since it's release. The handheld devs are responsible for some of Nintendo's biggest franchises. Once Nintendo runs dry with franchises to sell, then let's talk about price cuts. Right now, it's more or less tracking to where PS4 is at (which is saying a lot, given it still sold more than PS4 in it's first year).
