I think the point of LABO is to expand the market potential of the Switch. Therefore, the intended consumer base for the product only slightly overlaps with the demographic on this site. Nintendo are going after the expanded audience/blue ocean again to further increase the userbase on the Switch. Could easily see a permanent sales baseline rise WW with a product like this. My guess is, Nintendo values an expansion of its userbase more than sheer sales of this product. More HW down the line= more SW sold for Nintendo, as new customers seek to add to their Switch/LABO purchase. This also adds to the fact that the Switch somewhat advertises itself. A new Switch customer shows their LABO to friends/neighbours and it snowballs from there. Am sure there will be more casual/bridge games in the future that won't necessarily appeal to the people here but will moreso to an expanded market. So whilst LABO might not appeal here,(or games after it for that matter), it will likely foster growth for the Switch in other areas. Largely ones that don't frequent places such as this.

Yeah i really think Labo will be to Switch as Nintendogs/Brain Age, Wii Sports/Fit & Kinect were to DS, Wii & 360.
