Yes but Pro and X1 isn't helping the base consoles get more titles. Games are still designed with the base models in mind primarily. A Switch Pro wouldn't help Switch get more games is what I'm saying. And I'm saying that because you listed that as a factor that could improve the situation when PS5/XBO come out. But the games still have to be able to run adequately in unlocked mode on the vanilla Switch.

Switch's popularity and other factors certainly can improve the situation, but not a potential Switch Pro.

And thats exatly my point with potential, Switch Pro, like wrote, at end everything is about profit, if Switch sales and Switch games are still selling, some 3rd party will definitely still port some games to Switch/Pro despite PS5/XB2. I mean Switch is still less than one year on market and still need to have peak year, easily can have instal base of around 100m at end of LT.
