In reference to the tech industry, I have yet to see HD-DVD burners offered on websites that sell computer parts. www.scan.co.uk is a major company (in the UK) that sells parts for PC builders, and last time I checked they only sold Blu-Ray drives.

Have a look at this: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=625330

Yes, I know it hasn't come to market yet, but when you have a £160 (I know that's over $300, but our tech prices are inflated) Blu-Ray player for your PC, chances are it's going to be adopted pretty well, especially as PC monitors have always (as far as I can tell) been better resolution than TVs, and with screens that can now display about 1600 x 1000 pixels, which is virtually full HD, people won't need to buy a new TV. They can just get a Blu-Ray drive for their PC, as I'm sure within 2 years, that kinda resolution will be the norm.

So where's the HD-DVD players for you PC then? No where to be seen....

Another site: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/120884 that only sells Blu-Ray.

Btw, I looked through HP UK and couldn't find anything about HD disk formats.
