As someone who has heard a lot of DMC fans woahs and rants ... it's very odd to me how many people in this thread think DmC was great and think the series betrayed DMC1 or got worse after it...
From what I've heard, and again I've never played them but, I've always gotten the idea it was DMC3 that most fans loved the most, with 4 being a "missed" opportunity that could have been the best DMC game.
