Thanks for all the input guys. It at least gives me an idea of what to go for. My current TV is a plasma and I remember getting image retention after playing a few hours of God of War. The health bar showed up everywhere for a long long time, so I'm not sure I wanna risk buying a new TV that can have the same problem.
