It doesn't, but they go through a lot of effort to keep up the illusion. I had to learn all kinds of fake facts and even some made up national anthem for my citizenship test, however in the end the cat came out of the bag when I had to pledge allegiance to queen Elizabeth II. It was a good joke though.
