I had a Destiny launch white PS4.

My thing started to die on me by the middle of 2016. It was I believe the Power Supply which if the PS4 was off or even in sleep mode would not turn on randomly. Blue light would light up for a millisecond then a complete shut down.

Called Sony and they wanted around $100 for a fix since it was out of warranty range. I ended up dealing with it, then selling the old PS4 for parts and getting the Destiny 2 PS4 Pro lol.

I would suggest going the digital only route if thats alright with you or contact Sony and if you can deal without it for a week or two just pay them to get it fixed. They still fix out of warranty PS4's but it just has a cost to it rather than being free (as long as you didn't fiddle with anything under the void sticker).
