Nah, just you wait till Mario Party, Paper Mario, the Mario Sports games etc. start to hit and they are still mediocre like they have been this past decade.

Its not the usually great games I was worried about being great on Switch, its the ones that have disappointed the past generation or two.

I fully expect those games to still be mediocre, but they'll only make up a small easily ignorable portion of the Switch library. Those games seemed especially bad on Wii U because it lacked many great games and just games in general, but Switch shouldn't have that problem. Already it's getting mainline entrys in Kirby, Metroid, Fire Emblem, and Pokemon, all of which skipped Wii U.

Pfft, speak for yourself! I buy games because I've determined they're worth it and not a moment sooner!

I mean, so do I. But i've been burned before. Dark Souls 2 and Halo 4 were both critically acclaimed when I bought them, and they're easily some of the most disappointing games I've ever played.

I've only been burned twice, culprits being Sonic 06 and Sticker Star, but it wasn't because my research was wrong, it was precisely because I didn't do enough research, letting my fanboy blindness take over. Otherwise, my track record is spotless!
