the CDU/CSU is the biggest party in germany and the CSU spoke at length about the one issue that seems to be your focus

 

They speak mostly about it not being an issue

Now it is one of the major reasons they lost a lot of support. 

 the bavarian part of the CDU, namely the CSU, is very much in favor of tight immigration quotas + easy/swift deportation and has voiced that often and loudly throughout the election campaign
