Thats a policy issue.  In other words, if someone makes a complaint, the due process would be to validate if the complaint is correct.  If someone makes a false complaint, then that person should be fired.  Just like making a false fire alarm.

And that is the problem and criticism... there wasn't due process. The guy was immediately fired.
