Because I see things are going South, and some moderations are most likely on the way, I'm going to take a crack at this and offer some benefit of the doubt, first. Explain these programs you speak of... |
Highlighted in bold how cute, your species is adorable... I am sure you have heard of the internet. Humans invented it way way back; it helps the species gain quick access to information that is not innate.
Like a book but it's electronic.
You must know how to operate the standar issue web browser seeing as how you are a moderator on this site...
So I implore you to copy the following link into the address bar:
The link if you do not wish to follow it lead here. . . .

Affirmative action as defined by Google: "an action or policy favoring those who tend to suffer from discrimination, especially in relation to employment or education; positive discrimination" |
Now I cannot speak for you but based on the very definition of "Racism" this looks very racist to me...
HUD (Housing and Urban Development) favors the sickly, old and dark skinned Americans (a few illegals slip in there too).
Filling out a student loan application, in more cases these days applying for an appartment or indeed filling your taxes all have race specific benefits and clauses... Well unless you're a single white male, then you're screwed in all the wrong ways! WIC for example... Women Infants and Childeren...
Don't believe me? Again, It's called the internet.

Google: "native american student loan forgiveness"
https://www.studentdebtrelief.us/knowledge-base/grants-internships-scholarships-native-americans/
Google: "African American student loan forgiveness"
A top link:

Now Try Googling "white student loan forgiveness" or "[insert race] student loan forgiveness"
Thankfully stuff pops up for whitey too, but there are no specific benefits.
This showed up after Google searching for "irish american scholarships"
A fairly large snippet from the first paragraph of their "Ethnicity Scholarships" page's:
|
"Criteria for ethnic-based scholarships varies - while some may require you to have been born in another country, others may only require you to have a mom or dad of that heritage. Don't forget that ethnicity may not be the only criteria required for winning a scholarship - you may need to have a certain GPA or set of extracurricular or community involvement. Your family heritage is valuable and having an ethnic background can help you earn more money towards your college education." |
Remember by some they mean many... And having an ethnic background (something you do not choose and has absolutely no effect on you if you were born and raised in America) is enough to get you money for an education... Is this not racism? I mean sure this includes people of all races but more often than not minorities get easier access to these kinds of benefits, they get more comprehensive coverage when because insurers are forced to care about them at the expense of others...
Ethnic Origin and/or Race≠Financial Wealth
But it's not like state aide or ACA give special benefits to non-whites.
Oh wait, they do as well. If you're a Native American (as in indigenous) you're already a higher priority than most. If you are a single mother on top of that? Welcome to top priority single Native American mommy, Uncle Sam will take care of you and your baby now!
There is indeed systemic racism; it isn't meant to be against anyone. Regardless of the root intention, at the scale of a nation, race specific benefits come at the expense of others.
There is no systemic racism against anyone in America, favoritism is a better word to describe what's going on here on a federal level. In public circles celebrities (which are public figures) believe in this "Systemic racism against minorities AKA: 'black & brown people'". The messages of celebrities have successfully brainwashed the lazy-minded masses, including you it would seem.
