I love Xenoblade Chronicles X but if there is a port, leave it for a VC or some other outside team to handle. Unless Monolith Soft is working on a brand new IP then they should focus on a sequel to XCX not a port.
Given some of his discussions though, for his sake, I hope they take a brief break from craft massive RPG worlds and try some other genre they would like to dabble in.
