Don Mattrick was responsible for the growth and downfall of Xbox, he made the best 3rd party contracts, signed the best names, brought MGS and FF to Xbox. Some of the best 1st party games came out under his helm. Xbox was exciting, even Kinect was to some, and though his original Xbone vision was terrible, it was still a vision.
Phil Spencer on the other hand, while a nice guy, made Xbox boring imo. Xbox lacks vision and seems lost. 1st party has become predictable, the few exclusives he has he culls further by cancelling Phantom Dust, Scalebound and Fable Legends. Trolls fans with Conker in Project Spark. We were led to believe he was gonna bring more exciting exclusives to Xbox but it didn't happen.
