Wasn't that just to show support for Turkey after terror attacks, how is that a sign of anything? They projected the flag of France in solidarity too.

There are many countries today doomed to dictatorship that aren't Muslim so not sure what Islam has anything to do with it. Without Islam there wouldn't be Western civilization today, everything we have today is thanks to the Islamic Golden Age.
Also half of Africa is Muslim.
