Considering it's their IP, I believe they should do whatever they see fit. However, personally I do not see a point to this, I am pretty sure those that do not want spoilers will stay off and gamers that see parts of a games story may still buy it (I am not sure about others, but I have never skipped out on a game because of story spoilers, largely because the interactive aspect of video games is something that cannot be spoiled by watching content), Sometimes these things create more of PR disasters than they are worth (I know it is not exactly the same, but one needs to look at how much slack Nintendo took for their stupid streaming policies.)
