Just curious, how would you r tem? I'm playing DW8XLCE and I find it pretty good. Tons of content to keep me entertained for hours.

Mostly in the 80s, with Empires & XL titles rated lower (they're essentially just DLCs sold as full games). The main issue I have with those scores though is DW6 having a better score than 7. I still think 6 deserves better than a 59 as it isn't that bad, mid 70s would perhaps be fair. 7 however was better than 6 in pretty much everyway, definitely deserves more than it rather than less. 5 too should definitely be higher than 6. There's a reason 6 got a lot of hate and it's because it was a big decline in quality for the series so it shouldn't have scored as high as the previous entry

As for DW8XLCE, I think that deserves the highest rating. Perhaps as high as an 88 or something. It's essentially an enhanced re-release of the (imo) biggest and best DW so far with a load of additional content added on top. There's not many games I've triple dipped for, but that's one of them

Yeah, the ammount of content is impressive. I've played a gazillion maps and I'm not even close to finish the campaigns. There are also tons of characters and weapons. And the movesets for each weapon/character are also pretty impressive. Not sure why DW games tends to score low. I think it could be because of the pre-conception of being just button-smashers, when there's some strategy and planning, specially on highest difficulties. Never tried an Empires game before though. Is it similar to DW8 ambition mode?
