The second, and last for this week, piece of news:

Wizard Fu is a one-person development studio who, alongside publisher Double Eleven, aims to release Songbringer this summer—a procedurally-generated Zelda-like that boasts a host of weapons, dungeons and quests within a world of up to 308 million unique environment combinations.

A TEN YEAR-OLD TEAM FORTRESS 2 BUG HAS BEEN FOUND AND FIXED

Videogames have bugs. This is a fact of life. Some are obvious and easy to squash, and others are a little trickier to nail down. And then there are bugs like the one Valve fixed yesterday in Team Fortress 2. According to this Engadget report, it was around for a full decade—since TF2 was released in 2007—before it was noticed last month by TF2 Classic developer Nicknine, and reported by Redditor sigsegv_.

PAYDAY 3 IS IN DEVELOPMENT, BUT IT MAY BE A WAY OFF
http://www.pcgamer.com/payday-3-is-in-development-but-it-may-be-a-way-off/
It's been nearly four years since Payday 2 released, so it's no surprise to hear that Overkill software is working on its follow-up Payday 3. The news comes via publisher Starbreeze's latest financial earnings report, so while there's no flashy CG trailer or coy social media teases, we at least know it's 100 percent true.

A NEW SHINESS: THE LIGHTNING KINGDOM TRAILER SERVES UP PS2-STYLE JRPG ACTION
http://www.pcgamer.com/a-new-shiness-the-lightning-kingdom-trailer-brings-the-ps2-flavored-jrpg-action/
We took a look at the PS2-inspired JRPG Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom last summer and came away pretty optimistic about what it would ultimately offer. Now, with the the better part of a year passed and the release "coming soon," publisher Focus Home Interactive has put up a new "Overview" trailer showing off animations, combat and conversation systems, supporting characters, and other elements of the game's wild fantasy world.

>>Thankfully, it doesn't look like a PS2 game.

WATCH DOGS 2 HUMAN CONDITIONS DLC HAS SELF-DRIVING CARS THAT PRIORITISE HUMAN LIFE

As if the all-seeing, all-controlling surveillance state depicted by Watch Dogs and successor Watch Dogs 2 wasn't terrifying enough—the latter's incoming portion of DLC goes darker with the idea still. Human Conditions is due March 23 on PC, and brings with it new co-op missions, new locations and three new single-player Dedsec operations.

SEA OF THIEVES GETS SKELETON SWASHBUCKLERS AND FATAL FALL DAMAGE
http://www.pcgamer.com/sea-of-thieves-gets-skeleton-swashbucklers-and-fatal-fall-damage/
Rare's upcoming open-world adventure game Sea of Thieves has steadily impressed me since its 2015 reveal, however its last two videos have really turned my head. By exhibiting how its co-op mechanics work in practice, not to mention how chaotic treasure hunts can quickly become, I've found myself more and more invested in its overarching ideas.

Lastly, the usual recap of this weekend's deals at GOG and Steam:

+GOG

  • As you all know, GOG runs their deals the whole week, and this week's deal is "From wishlists with love", featuring the likes of Pillars of Eternity, the Witcher trilogy, Baldur's Gate or System Shock, among plenty others.

+Steam

And that's it. I honestly hope you have a great and gaming weekend.
