Conquest is undoubtedly the better experience in terms of challenge. Personally, I felt the presentation, characters, maps and story are also much better.
There's little clues everywhere that show they made Conquest first, Revelations second and Baby's First Fire Emblem Birthright last. Production qualities seem to be in that order.
