You know full well that when people talk about CG cut-scenes, they mean 3D computer graphics videos that aren't rendered in real-time by the hardware. Which, again, Lunar: The Silver Star on the Sega CD didn't have any. You're the only one here who isn't on the same page as everyone else on that. What was said was cg cutscenes, and Final Fantasy VII introduced gaming to it. 

 

No it wasn't and games were laying the groundwork for FF VII long before FF VII was a thing.
