I don't understand the gun part. However, going into Night Two Mr.P had claimed a role, but still has not claimed a name.

Fun time-twisting fact: FF has just recently claimed a role with a gun and has yet to claim a name!

My name is Baofu.  Looking at the wiki, it makes sense that he would be a vigilante, but I was not given his other name, just Baofu.
