Yeah just look at what Obama did lol he rose the debt by 8-9 trillion....more than any president in history 

Also, to toss into this discusion, the "military industrial complex" is not the main drive of the government's massive spending.  I know this is unpopular, no one wants to hear it, and no President would ever say, but entitlements are the biggest driver, taking up well over half of our budget, around 60% if my math is right.  Military spending is around 1/7 of the total spending, and that's with us at war.
