Buying physical games in general don't make sense. The effort of changing disks all the time, - You've gotten lazy.

worrying about scratching them, - I got 20+ year old disc games and music, all fine.

wearing out the laser, - Still have all my disc consoles working fine. I maintain them.

storing the game on your shelves - If you have the space, what's the problem? Lazy?

plus you still have to download half the games - So downloading everything, is better?

anyway since 99% of them require day one patches. - Better question. Why doesn't MS and Sony allow us to backup the patches? Then that would never matter. I'd just restore the patches, from a hdd, disc, sd of mine. If I needed to.

Digital is simple, - Put in drive, install, download patch. Simple.

download it and its there when you want it all the time. - My physical games are there when I want them.

Cant be stolen, - Hacking your account would make it stolen too. Just like the low odds of people breaking into your house.
