How are white people supposed to feel about their own race?

BUT, I don't think that's what people mean when they have Black Pride, or Gay pride etc. It's more a situation of, people have tried to make me feel bad for being a certain way, and fuck you I'm happy with who I am.

So when people say white people shouldn't have white pride (it's wrong to say they shouldn't anyone has the right to be proud of their background) it's usually under the guise of, you haven't gone through what me and people who look like me went through whilst growing up, so you're saying this to try and belittle me.

Guess what... no person have ever passed through the same thing as another one, and you can't accertain for any degree of certainty that because of skin color someone have gone through more hardship than another.

That is the very racist and separatist feeling the left wing try to put in place that is completely false.

The individual matter, the color or the alleged background the ancestors had don't.

Only one what is valid?   Feeling proud of others success because they represent you?   Or the feeling of pride because you are a part of a maligned group that rose above expectations and achieved success in a system that functions to hinder it?

Both are valid.  Both apply.  But both have different circumstances.

The difference is fan Johnny seeing hockey star Steve slap a puck in the goal is being proud of his team.  Steve doesn't represent the struggles, trial, tribulations and oppression that Johnny deals with because Johnny doesn't have those problems...so there is no association there.  Johnny is associated to Steve as a representative of his city.

Fan Tyrone seeing basketball star Deandre drive the paint and dunk is both being proud of his team and the achievements he makes despite the odds against him.  Those same odds Deandre faced, Tyrone faces.  It's watching as the world around you tells you that you are insignificant because of who you are and seeing a representative of that group defiantly stand against the oppression. 

 

If you think a black man is proud of another black man just because he's black, you've thrown an airball too.  You miss the reason. 

If you never ask why they are proud and only assume a reason...you know where that goes.

You were very clear on only black people and similar acceptability to pride over others and projecting then on the successful ones.

And see above, no 2 people have gone through the same hardships, and you can't rule one suffering more or less only looking at skin color and assuming.

Guess what... the world will tell you that you are insignificant for thousand different reasons and you won't be able to hide, and a lot of those reasons have nothing to do with your skin color but people will find something to dismisse and diminish you if you let them.

When a black person in the US or a Jewish person in Germany celebrates pride in their race, it's because they were hugely oppressed for being that race. If a white person shows pride for being white in either nation, they are being a racist dick, because racially motivated things that whites did in the US and Germany are enslaving black people, killing natives, and attempting to exterminate Slavs and Jewish people.

Nope, they are showing pride for being born as he was and not commiting any crime that anyone try to put on him for how he was born.

Black people kill a lot more blacks in USA than white people do. Black people enslaved a lot more people in Africa than you would guess, and also enslaved white people and jews as well. Don't try to make a bad white people against the saints of other races.
