There isn't even a great deal of genetic variance between us, other species like birds and even dogs have far more variance. We're far more alike than many species. We have basically three primary different shades of skin pigment, two different hair types, and some variance in features like the eyes/nose primarily, and that's about it.  

Even subgroups of species like say pigeons have more variance physically than we do. 

Guess you have to go back to biology class...

Just on the genetic origin, Europeans have a lot of inherintance from the Neanderthal.
