A outfigher, who stays at range, moves you around and constantly pokes from out of range, is a valid way of fighting. So is a counterstriker, someone who wants to annouy you, looking for a opening when you step forwards, so he can land that 1 big knockout punch.
Standing toe to toe, with a in-fighter known for good stemina and a disreguard for how much damage he takes as long as he gets to punch you, and typically wins doing so, is not a smart move unless you believe yourself to be a better in-fighter. |
He was literally turning his back and running from him, not fighting from the outside. He was getting booed from the crowd every time he did it. Other than that it was a good fight.
