I get that but with the PC version, there was a mod to remove it and it was even better cause PC users saw even more detail than they would normally have. On Consoles sure if they really need to render those extra pixels but on PC... They should give an option to remove that nonsense. The worst part is that if you have an Ultrawide monitor that works with that FOV, the black bars don't go away and you just get more black bars on the side from what I have heard which makes it even worse.
