The matter is if it will fail for You not if it will fail for some reasons.
There is no reason to abandon Nintendo at any time if they'll keep making quality games. Just look how beautiful new Zelda is...
Personally, I don't own a Ninty console but I wish them all the best. I like their approach to the business and how they treat players by creating a great value of content for them.
They became a little bit slow lately, that's true, especially with their new announcements and general condition. They waited so long to show new Zelda footage and with their new unveils. But I believe it's just calm before the storm, when they will announce their new console.
My guess is: they're just waiting for the new console to come out of the shadows and become real. They will support it with the new announcements so it could shine in a new light. They are holding back new games they were working on just to be unveiled along the NX. I think the silence marks something big.
Above all, don't lose faith.
