Maybe not completely gone but it will be shelved for a good couple of years. Really I feel like this game was partially made to throw a bone to the crowd that badgers Nintendo to bring the franchise back every single year. It's just that instead of copy pasting 64 controls onto the Wii U, they hoped a novel experience in the motion controls would be enough to bring a new crowd into the series and give it life.
