I can only comment on Transformers. But that game was fine. All I wanted was G1, with original voices. That's what I got. Minus Megatron being his stupid tank. Bayonetta games have repetitive minions too. Why aren't you complaining about that series? And you have to also remember. There's was not much variety with the G1 designs. Most were clones. You can only do so much. Without violating what the characters did on the show.

There was far more variety in enemies in Bayo, the levels designs were far better, and the fighting mechanics are absolutely leaps and bounds better. If their licensed games were half as good as Bayo I'd have nothing to complain about and would write the rest off as them just being smaller arcade titles, but they aren't.

Half the characters are clones, on the show. They're restricted with that, and them being cars/planes. And I bet most of the budget went towards the cast alone. That is the drawback to the budget. Then how long do these games get to be built. I seriously doubt anywhere near the time Bayo took. And if these games were holding plat back. Why did they take them? Because their original games haven't sold well either. To just work on them alone. What other things could they have to done to make it feel different? Go to cybertron. You'd still drive around and fight, like on earth. Fight inside the Arc? Same thing. There is limitations to what they can do. With what they had. Complain towards Hasbro. They should of given them a bigger budget.
