It's entirely possible that these licensed games are helping the studio fund the software it really wants to make. Ideally, games like The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 would reap high profits, but that's not the case. So, it's hard to fault Platinum for getting into bed with Activision to enhance its coffers.

However, it's not hard to fault the studio for phoning it in, which is what happened with TMNT. Transformers was a solid game, though. I haven't played Korra, so I can't comment.
