I did as plainly visible in the very post you quoted, so you aren't fooling anyone. Not my fault you don't want to acknowledge it.
Unless you mean the sales numbers, which admittedly aren't in that post, but everyone should have seen them already.
SM3DL - 10 million, NSMB2 - 9 million
NSMBU - 5 million, SM3DW - 4 million
By the same token your more hype logic should lead to more software sales in general for 3D Mario over 2D, but nope for the same reason explained already.
