Kickstarter doesn't make me want a game any less. It's more about the developer, in my mind.

I have my reservations in regards to Kickstarter or paid early access. The main reason I dislike it is because many developers have little motivation to finish their game after it's been funded. Hey, they already got their money, and they won't really get a whole lot more by finishing the game. We've seen this happen to several Kickstarter or similar games.

As long as you have the motivation to finish the game after it's been funded, and you can get your "investors" to trust you on that, I think you'll be in good shape.
