A lot of new stuff related to pokemon this year
-Pikachu Detective for 3DS (announced today)
-Pokemon Yellow/Red/Blue re-release on 3DS
-Pokemon Original Movie Trilogy Blu-Ray release (the first time ever)
-Pokken Tournament for WiiU
-A new pokemon movie (Pokemon XZ and YZ)
-Pokemon online distribution of legendaries and "Mythical" pokemon for X/Y/OR/AS
-Pokemon Superbowl Commercial
-Pokemon Anniversary 3DS bundle
-New Pokemon Center opened in Kyoto, Japan
I wont be surprised if they announce more stuff both gaming and overall merchandise/entertainment wise.

That's pretty cool. I tried rewatching it with friends a couple of months ago but we didn't have the dvd and all we found was of really poor quality.
