the Wii U is not getting replaced this year, guys

It would like kicking an 80-year-old man in the gut, those systems are not strong enough to handle the NX being shown without what's left of their sales cratering.

Seriously, like November + December 2015 in North America is probably Nintendo's worst holiday sales since like ... 1995 when the SNES was aging and right in that pocket before Pokemon revitalized the Game Boy brand.

 

Actually , Wii U had it's second best holiday ever in 2015 according to NPD - up from 2014.
